National Integrative Health SMS Consent Process
National Integrative Health may conduct initial non-promotional, service-related outreach in connection with employer-sponsored health plans and related support programs where National Integrative Health is authorized to provide those services. If an individual chooses to continue receiving recurring text communications from National Integrative Health, consent is collected either through an NIH link-based workflow or verbally during a live interaction with an NIH representative.
During verbal opt-in, the NIH representative states: “National Integrative Health can send you recurring text messages related to enrollment assistance, support, scheduling, prescription coordination, physician office coordination, and service follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Do you agree to receive these text messages from National Integrative Health?”
Only individuals who clearly agree are enrolled in recurring NIH SMS communications, and that consent is documented in National Integrative Health’s internal system before ongoing messages continue.
